Cassie undertakes research, compiles and analyses data, contributes to reports and assists in the delivery of training at Clockwork.
Her most recent projects include co-authorship of a report commissioned by Sir Peter North reviewing evidence related to drug driving in the UK, a validation study of Qatar Airways’ ultra long-range schedule, and contributions to a critical appraisal and synthesis of fatigue and road safety literature.
After finishing a Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Adelaide in Australia, she completed her Physiology Honours year at the same institution with a project based at the affiliated Adelaide Institute for Sleep Health. From a background in human physiology, Cassie has gone on to co-ordinate and conduct independent research projects and has had hands-on clinical experience as a sleep technician, working closely with sleep apnoea patients and sleep specialists.
Cassie is currently studying for her PhD while also contributing to various Clockwork projects in the little spare time she has.
