The Association Luxembourgeoise des Pilotes de Ligne is a Luxembourg-based pilot’s association and advocacy group with over 400 members.
Founded in 1968, the ALPL is a member of the International Federation of Airline Pilots Associations (IFALPA) and European Cockpit Association (ECA) and enjoys close ties with pilot groups in Germany, France and the UK. In maintaining dialogue with the Luxembourg Government, the ALPL represents a significant voice in air safety in the region.
With the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) requiring airlines to implement Safety Management Systems by January 2009, the ALPL called upon Clockwork to deliver a series of presentations at their 2008 Fatigue Risk Management Systems Symposium.
