In 2011 National Express Coaches became the first road transport operator in the UK to introduce ‘Road Maestro’ into their operation. The software, produced by Avinet Pty (Australia), enables National Express to check the compliance and safety of their contractors, while also analysing rosters worked by drivers to identify roster patterns that are associated with high levels of fatigue. Clockwork, as Avinet’s alliance partner in the UK, helped National Express introduce the software into their system, as well as providing training for National Express personnel who will be using the software.
