Clockwork Research Director, Dr Alexandra Holmes, and Principal Researcher, Dr Katharina Lederle, have both been invited to deliver presentations at the IPIECA/OGP workshop ‘Managing Fatigue in the Oil and Gas Industry’ which takes place in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil on 11-12th November, 2013.

The two-day event is the third in a series of regional workshops undertaken by IPIECA, the global oil and gas industry association for environmental and social issues, and the International Association of Oil and Gas Producers (OGP).
The workshop will focus on three main issues:
- how to assess the risks from fatigue;
- how the results of a fatigue risk assessment can be interpreted and used to makedecisions about when fatigue risk management controls need to be implemented;
- how the effectiveness of different mitigation options can be taken into account inassessing the risks.
