Ray Duffy – Researcher

Ray is a Researcher at Clockwork, principally involved in the development of fatigue training programmes and managing crew surveys. Previously Ray gained experience conducting research into work-related stress and studying the psychological resilience of firefighters.

After completing his BSc in Occupational Health and Safety, Ray gained professional experience working as an Occupational Health & Safety Advisor with the Emergency Services, as well as other healthcare departments. Ray also has experience as an Industrial hygienist, Health & Safety Consultant and implementing Safety & Quality Management Systems. Ray also has an MSc in Business Psychology.

Since starting with Clockwork Ray has worked on a variety of projects including developing an automated fatigue risk assessment tool, fatigue analysis of shift patterns and assisting with fatigue risk assessments for clients in Egypt and Oman.
