Clockwork Research supports Royal Aeronautical Society Fatigue in Maintenance conference
Clockwork Research is pleased to have been asked to support an upcoming conference being organised by the Royal Aeronautical Society’s Human Factors Group: Engineering. The conference, entitled Staying Alert: Managing Fatigue in Maintenance, will take place in May 2017 at Cranfield University and feature speakers from the FAA, CAA as well as UK airlines and other industries.
Clockwork Research will be sharing their expertise and experience of implementing fatigue management programmes with their global clients.
Clockwork’s Operations Manager, Dr Sarah Flaherty, said: “We are delighted to be asked to assist the Royal Aeronautical Society and Cranfield University with this conference. Fatigue in maintenance operations is a challenging issue which to date has received relatively little consideration. With EASA keen to strengthen fatigue rules for all parts of the aviation industry, this is a timely event and one which should be of interest to all those involved in aviation maintenance operations.”
